What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit between pages and across sessions.
What cookies does Team Spirit use?
Team Spirit uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies.

Both cookies are httpOnly and SameSite=Lax, meaning they cannot be read by JavaScript in the browser and are not sent in cross-site requests. Neither contains any personally identifiable information — they hold only a session identifier and a club ID.
Do we use analytics or advertising cookies?
No. We do not load Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking or advertising technology. We do not share cookie data with any third party.
Mobile app
The Team Spirit mobile app does not use cookies. It uses a JSON Web Token stored securely in your device's encrypted storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore), and a locally stored active club preference. Neither value leaves your device except as part of authenticated API requests to our servers.
Do you need to consent?
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies — those without which the service cannot function — we are not required to obtain your consent under the UK PECR or EU ePrivacy Directive. We do not display a cookie consent banner because there is nothing optional to consent to.

If we introduce new cookies in the future we will update this page and notify users where required by law.
